Lecker68 that was our boat, she could not have found a better home. She will go places and see things that we never dreamed of. The photos that Richard has were taken in our yard when we bought the boat in 2007. I still check in 4 or 5 times a week see what is going on and how every one is doing. Bob

She has new Home
Easy Street has a new home. We had to let her go because we were not using her the way she was mint to be used. It time for us to move on to other things. We will miss sailing her. I will still check in on the forum from time to time to see how everyone is doing. Health problems were part of the rea...

Question for C-26 owners
I have a question for C-26 owners. What kind for fuel tank do you have , is it the original or has it been replaced with a newer one? If it has been replace do you know the brand name of it? How long, wide and high is the fuel tank? I have the original 6 gallon metal fuel tank, and I need to replace...

When my boat is sitting on the trailer the keel is about 2 inches above the keel roller. The weight of the boat is on the wobble rollers. Then I lower the keel on to the keel roller to take the weight of the keel pin and cable. http://i1197.photobucket.com/albums/aa440/easystreet2/IMG_0399.jpg http:...

Bearly There was no plywood on the cabin side wall, just the fabric with foam backing. This is what I did. When we did the inside of our boat we used wire brushs on the hull, then metal putte knife to scrape some more of the glue off. Then we mixed 1/2 cup of mr clean to a gallon of water and use sc...

Went out to the lake this morning to see if I could get the motor to start. To make a long story short, the fuel line was kinked. Straiten the line, pumped the ball on the fuel line to get fuel to the motor. Turned the key and the motor started Wright up. Moral of the story, make sure your fuel line...

Not a good day on Easystreet
Yesterday winds predicted to be between 5 and 10 mph so though it would good day to try out the 150 head sail since we have never used it before. So off to the lake we went. Putt on the 150 and motored out past all the house boats. Wind blowing 15 mph and higher, to much wind for me and the 150. So ...

Our drought is over
Our drought is over for this year anyway. In Jan 2009 the lake was 250 feet from the top. As of May 9 2011 the lake was 12 feet from the top http://i1197.photobucket.com/albums/aa440/easystreet2/013-2.jpg http://i1197.photobucket.com/albums/aa440/easystreet2/IMG_0405-1.jpg http://i1197.photobucket.c...

When I was taking out the linner inside the boat I noticed that the hull was reinforced in the bow where my rollers were on the outside of the hull. The reinforcement went behind the bulkheads so could not see how far it ran back to the stern. So if you have bunks or rollers they will sit on the rei...

John my trailer is a EZ LOAD with rollers. I replaced my winch last March because I lost the winch handle and the winch was all rusted up and the cable had a few broken strains. I replace it with a Fulton model T3205 with 3200 lbs 1 layer and 1450 lbs full drum from Eastern Marine. It is the same wi...

The experts are guessing it will be about 80 feet down from the top before it starts droping in early summer. Ther farmers in the valley gets most of the water and they...
