I found some of my notes. I have two sources not sure which one I used. My box of leftover is in NC and I'm in Pa. We've had it up for 5 years and its holding up well. Just make sure what you get is UV protected. There is a stretch factor.

Netting is a great idea. We used it on the outside stairs on the NC house. Its great for little kids. As they walk up the stairs they have a place to hold anywhere they grab. The building inspector was hesitant at first but I did one section and showed him and he was on board.

I'm having trouble seeing what the black thing is attached to that ring. I see a block but does the black part have grooves in it? It looks like it might be bigger in diameter than the boom. My guess is it doesn't go with that boat.

When it comes time to clean up the trailer frame you might consider a Harbor Freight needle scaler. They are great for getting into the corners you can't get with a grinder. 36 grit sanding discs work great on the flat areas. I also get them at HF. I used a metal conditioner before painting.

Mine is in the same condition. I have removed the entire head enclosure except for the aft bulkhead. I'm not sure I will replace it. The head area may become part of the V berth. I will replace my compression post with 3" square aluminum tube plated top and bottom.
