It could be done fairly easily with dive gear, not so much without, but still possible. I think I would take it to the ramp.

I have a good friend that liked to lean on the lifelines. It resulted in getting to practice my man overboard maneuvers and life line repair skills. Luckily it was warm weather.

Weight is supposed to be 3000, dry weight. Draft is about right at 18 I would think.

Awesome!! That looks like somewhere I would love to go, even at the risk of finding cold weather.

I think I would stick with the conventional shape, symmetrical foil with the leading edge being rounded making it a bit stronger and more durable and more controllable.

Looks really good to me, little bit of work around the edges with a belt sander or router and it should work as good as the original, if not better.

It has been a long time but I believe that I put two coats on it, on the keel and rudder I used something else for a primer though.

The windows are very common culprits as far as leaks go. I also had to re-bed the winches and companionway runners.

Not sure of the square footage but when I did mine I got it done with one gallon and had a bit to spare.

I have always used a shackle for this, but believe I will use Capt. Scott's method from now on. Sounds like a better idea to me.
