It could be done fairly easily with dive gear, not so much without, but still possible. I think I would take it to the ramp.

I have a good friend that liked to lean on the lifelines. It resulted in getting to practice my man overboard maneuvers and life line repair skills. Luckily it was warm weather.

I think I would stick with the conventional shape, symmetrical foil with the leading edge being rounded making it a bit stronger and more durable and more controllable.

Looks really good to me, little bit of work around the edges with a belt sander or router and it should work as good as the original, if not better.

The windows are very common culprits as far as leaks go. I also had to re-bed the winches and companionway runners.

Not sure of the square footage but when I did mine I got it done with one gallon and had a bit to spare.

I have always used a shackle for this, but believe I will use Capt. Scott's method from now on. Sounds like a better idea to me.

Keel pin brackets

The originals on mine were steel and rusted out. I am replacing them with stainless. I found a local fabricator that made them for aprox. 300.00 They did a nice job and are willing to repeat the job for others. If you are out of the area you would have to pay for the shipping. Anyone interested in t...

Well, it is not a given that the keel pin brackets will need replacing but the best way to tell off the get is to inspect from inside and out and check out how much corrosion there is. Pull the rubber plugs on the inside and look and see if it looks like there has been water leaking in. Crawl under ...
