I'll tell this story I got from my sailmaker who said he worked for Chrysler building 26' hulls . He told me that they took an unfinished hull out to the parking lot and rolled it over and over letting the keel flop in and out. While he doesn't recommend this method for testing your keel pin he stat...

Thanks guys for all the complements - It makes for a homey, comfortable stay during the summer months. I do use an air conditioner (didn't have to use it last summer the fans kept it cool) when it's to warm and an electric heater when it gets cool. I'll have to post some more pics to show the salon ...

I did add a pulley system to help unload the boat when it's shallow. I use the trailer winch to pull the boat off. Works real good. You can see the cabl...

Scott got to tell you a story about roller furling - This last summer I was out on Saginaw Bay by myself - My roller furler jammed, the wind was light and was making about two knots toward Bay City. I decided good time to run up to the bow and unjam it. Going over the cabin roof I had a hold of the ...

(I would have helped but was having heart surgery) - What the other Bob didn't mention is that he was using a 100% jib an I was using my 130% Genoa and it is on a Harken roller furller. Makes a big difference in a low wind. An yeah ...
