Free C22
Hi guys. For the sake of expedience (I have nowhere to put it), In the next couple of weeks I will be offering up a blue '77 Chrysler 22 for FREE. It is fully intact, and and could be put in the water now, but a couple of weekends of work would make it a wonder. It is sitting on a single axle ...

Hello there. I've never sailed Toledo Bend, but it sounds great! I sail in Shreveport on Cross Lake and we really enjoy it. I figured I would chime in because I'm KINDA close by. I have done a bit of duck hunting on Toledo Bend, as well as a lot of native American artifact hunting down there. I made ...

This is a fantastic boat. I had a chance to get one years ago, but it had not been maintained well. The shoal keel had rusted so badly that the board could not be retracted, and it was stuck in the water. I called Rudy at D & R marine (an indispensable source of parts for any Oday owner, and I am ...

Hi guys, I haven't been posting much. Life has been busy. I didn't want to start a new thread, so I'll use this one. I hope everyone is doing well.
We had some really rough winds this past weekend, like 4 foot waves in the marina with gusts to 40. Well, the boat slipped next to mine came loose and ...

Brian I have never sailed my 22 for a sustained amount of time on just one sail. I have been in some really knarly stuff with the main reefed and the 110% jib. If I had to pick just one, it would probably be the main, but I have seen plenty of people cruising around with just a headsail. Using just ...

Strapping down the head
How do you guys secure your porta-potties in the 22? I've got the little wooden platform and the two metal "hooks", but no strap or anything. I was out Friday in considerable weather and the head went crashing to starboard while I was wetting the rail. Those things are top heavy with the clean water ...
