deck core
Can anybody tell me what chrysler cored the decks of the 1978 c26 with. Also has anyone taken off the rub rail that can give me pointers on not damaging the black vinyl strip or if new vinyl can be had. Tried to find this info in the archives without luck. Thanks for any help. Greg

Hey Alan sounds good to me, but I was a thinking that if Scott were to get busy he could have the first and only Chrysler 22 catamaran ever built. Now how would that look in your picture, maybe pretty cool, I would bring the wine to cristen her. I will fit into what ever weekend works best for other...

Just got home from 2 days at Port Townsend, my salt water fix for the year. Walked the docks at Port Townsend, John Wayne Marina at Sequim, rode the ferry from Port Angeles to Victora and back, just to be on the water. Found an ad on the bulletin board at Port Townsend " 22' Chrysler swing keel...

Thanks for the question Avatar. I pull with an 2002 ford 3/4 ton 4x4 powerstroke diesel, lots of power and suspension. I towed it home when I bought it and the tires on the front axle ran hot compared to the tires on the rear axle on a cool evening. If I know the number of slots on the tow rail of a...

trailering c26
Is there anyone out there that could count the slots in their tow rail from either the stern or bow to the center of the trailer duals (trunion). My boat is to far forward for proper weight distrubution and this would be much easier than loading and reloading till I get it right. Thanks Greg48 HAVE ...

I just raised my mast for the first time on my c-26. I built a stand for the mast to rest on. It is made out of a load lock available at most truck stops, it is aluminum, it can be made out of anything, just something I already had. I cut it so that when finished it is 84 inches overall length inclu...

Should have read you post twice, I see you have already tried everything I said. Don't remember if that engine has external fuel line. If it does crack the line at the injector and turn the engine over with the battery until she squirts diesel without air. This is how you bleed the fuel lines in cat...

I believe this is the same boat I drove down from Washington to buy last winter. If it is when I tried to turn the engine over by hand with the flywheel it didn't want to move. I put some muscle into it and it finally did move. If I were doing it I would crank the engine over until she builds oil pr...
