Javafish,

FWIW...

From what I recall the Honda 9.9 4 stroke weighed 99 lbs from the beginning of production.

Perhaps someone else has more reliable info than my memory. LOL

Thanks ! Seems like every year now the waterline gets a little higher on this 'old boat' and she moves a little slower..I'd give up having birthdays, but I hear the side effects of quitting are drastic.. LOL... I have been 39 at each birthday for many years and don't intend to get any older....

 Yes, Outbacker, good story. This remedy is strictly for non-smokers. Wasps, hornets (and rattlers) don't like gasoline fumes. Toss three or four ounces of gasoline (do not light the gas) into the entrance hole they are using. Depart the area! They will leave and not return. This is best ...

We enjoy the wide open cabin of ours.

I do feel the C26 is more stable.

Just my opinion...

Single battery is in cockpit port laz. VHF is in cabin starboard side. All per PO(s).

List does not seem to bother me.

Be careful, Aerojet777, just like whiskey and women, there are different grades of butyl tape. Mainesail has the best stuff.

FWIW. PO sealed ports with silicone sealant. Looks sorta rough... but none of them leak!

Your trailer sounds identical to mine.

So I am going to assume that my boat and trailer weigh the same as yours weighs.

Don't know what the boat weighs, but I think 7400 pounds is stamped on the TRAILER data plate. Most of the data plate is illegible so I am guessing that is the max gross weight of boat and trailer. What is the towing capacity of the tow vehicle? Will you be towing on level roads or hilly terrain? FW...

Matt, The mushroom bushings should not be fastened to the boat. The bushings on mine just fit in the recess the bottom of the hull and in the recess in the cockpit. It is my guess that they were designed to fit tightly in the recesses and the rudder shaft would rotate in them. Don't know for sure. T...

My C26 rudder bearings (top and bottom) are just like yours. The rubber hose and clamps are the same too. Recently ordered one bushing from Idarudder. Top mushroom bushing/bearing was well worn (eroded) from the weight of the rudder/tiller assy. BTW  Do you have a good recipe for Zebra Mussels?...

Go w/230V AC/DC welder. You will not be happy w/120V. Add circuit breakers to your service entrance box just as you would for an electric clothes dryer or an electric kitchen range.
