This being summer, it's not too busy on the site; so I am glad I came on the site this evening and have the honor of being your first WELCOME!!

Well, it takes a thinking sailor to come up with that! lol I think your idea is great and I am going to download it.

From personal experience and from reading articles about anchoring methods, many look at it as "the dirty but necessary" job at the end of a good day of sailing.

Thanks for the well wishes. I must have written what I did in a weak, un-seamanlike manner because your notes were a wake up call. I won't go away just yet by selling my boat and losing my legitimate reason for hanging around this site! That suddenly seems like a rash decision I had made.

Early this summer I decided to rig my TMI in a way similar to the C22's, using the old Chrysler bridle system. Bill was kind enough to give me the dimensions to the recommended toe rail slots for the Bridles. And, over and over I watched Scott's sequence of photos as he raised his.

I changed mine in the last year and used the Chrysler manual in the document section. It even states what the angle of the keel is with a certain amount of turns on the winch.

Thanks for putting it up Scott and now that it is, just a few comments. That drawing shows the keel bracket on my 1981 TMI 22. I drew it because from pictures I've looked at, showing C 22' brackets, there is a striking resemblance.
