Towing a Man o' War

Does anyone have experience towing a Man o' War? What do you use as your tow vehicle, and are there any recommended trailers? I'm trying to keep prices very low - am aiming at a used (and very old) pickup truck, but aside from Craigslist, don't know where to begin. Spring is approaching, and I've be...

Imagine it like a roller furler on a big-boat, except theres no lines to get it to roll. I suppose you'll just have to loose all the lines and twist the bottom of the mast. When I bought mine, it was on the mast, rolled on. I'm a purist though, and come from the land of sail maintenance, so I took t...

C-15 Man o War Boom Yolk

The yolk on my new-to-me c-15 has been broken some time, and was fixed with a wrench and two hose clamps. Would love to be able to fix this outright, or get dimensions from someone so that I can have a metalshop spin another one.

Thanks,
John Campbell

haha unfortunately, that boat no longer exists to my knowledge. A hurricane took it away from our youthful hands and after working on it for a year we donated a mostly floating boat to a local charity.

New Man-o-War Owner

Hi all, I figure this is a good place to make an introduction? M'names John and I just bought a used and somewhat neglected C-15 yesterday in coastal Virginia. I live just outside of D.C. and will be restoring the boat over the winter. I haven't been able to scrape enough corrosion off the plate to ...
