This guy had front row seats to an unexpected mast de-stepping. I'm pretty sure I heard him laugh as I shamefully walked by.

I think of this picture as a shot of forshadowing. This is the last pic of my mast still standing tall, with it's "maker" lurking in the background.

Another pleased secosouth customer! I ordered a new forestay, they were able to reuse the turnbuckle, and it ran about $40 plus shipping. They were pleasant to deal with, and very knowledgable. Highly recommended and will definitely use them for any other rigging needs.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back guys. My trip, as I expected, had a few " first time mishaps." Trip started out fine, I was happy to see the motor operate normally. Wind picked up to 25-30knots so I decided not to raise the sails. Just wanted to motor around to check for leaks an...

Taking " Sea-Bring" out for the first time tomorrow. Going out of Regent Point on the Rappahannock River. Expected winds, 15-25 mph. It should be fun! I'll let you guys know how it goes. I also need to post pics of work done over the winter.

You are right, it is a C-22. Thanks for the input guys. While I'm asking questions, where would I find cushions for the C-22? I'm learning a whole lot from this site. Any good places to look for fiberglass info?(Winter projects)Anyone else somewhat close to the Chesapeake Bay?

Help! What is this?

On the other side of the lower pipe, in the hallway, there is a round rubber cap aprox. 5inches in diameter. Any ideas on wh...

Information on 1977 Chrysler 280 outboard?

Just got my first boat, a c-22, and it has a Chrysler 280 outboard that comes with it. The little bit of research I've done says it is a 12 hp. Does anyone know if this is correct and/or any other information on this motor? Thanks!

Sorry guys, already picked it up. The safety posts are the stanchions that were pushed through by a tree limb. Other than that the boat is in great shape. This is my first boat and I'm really excited. Let me know if there is anything I should know about these boats.
