We towed out 10 hours from Palm Beach FL to Tallahassee, FL on a approx 6,000 lb rated tandem with no problems. One of the better pulling trailers I've had. Boat sat perfect with no issues.

Lazarette leaking?

Water is coming inside boat thru lazarette lids. My boat is on a trailer, but slightly leaning to starboard, so when it rains water is gathering and running under lid/lip, up and over into boat, down the bench and runs onto floor in cabin. It only happens on this side. Has anyone else had this issue?

Yes, dogs become our "children". My wife's dachshund was attacked by a bull dog. Vet didn't expect to live - she was 8. Odd thing, she did after $$ yet she had never went thru a true "heat" then after surgery, 8 months later she did. She had 3 litters with 8 total pups with mine ...

PVC water pipes freeze and break when above ground, unless protected. Since Chrysler's may be on trailers - and wet - of course maybe not much sailing going on in winter?, that's my concern using just regular PVC, especially after taking apart and seeing stresses on two boats now in which one did cr...

Oh, yeah, the rudder was gone and nylon thru-hull was broken. The alum post was only left - if anyone needs one. I am rebuilding the SS one I had from other boat that had one "fin" broken off, but rudder was in good shape. Waiting on thru-hull piece to come in for cockpit (which was "...

There isn't a curler on either. I still have to clean the 76 winches, but unsure if I'll keep them. Bushings are made of nylon and not SS as on 75 Bareint's ,so I may keep as backups.

My 1975 boat has a bronze thru-hull. The nylon in cockpit was broken. Rudder post was SS and 5" longer than the Alum in the 1976. I'm in process of rebuilding the 1975 rudder assembly to "hopefully" put into 1976 that was broken off - including bottom thru-hull piece. I still hav e to...
