Bayfield 29 been busy putting a lot of up grades on it!

thanks for the kind words.

I was in a regatta in Toronto this weekend and picked ot the c20 from far away. man I miss the c22 it was sooooo fun to sail (and a lot faster)

Now that i think of it I did use a combo light at the top. I ordered it frome the marine store I use in special. $70 but it is all LED and I love it.

I stole Mcrandall's idea and built the exact same as he did, with the led lights and all. It was an extremely easy set up to do and the led lighs really help.
$30 will get you a spliter for your am/fm and vhf to plug into thid will let you use 1 antenna. It works great.

I built a shelf under the cockpit from one side to the other about 2 1/2" high.
That allows me to have just enough room top squeeze 2 batteries in and have them out of the way and out of sight. I can get a pic next time I head to the boat.

I just got back from cleaning up trees for the hydro in New London, im glad to say that the damage was not too bad where I was.

On a side note, it was absolutely beautiful area I was in and the people where amazing. I paln on making a trip down in the summer. :)

I like amsteel, I have used it in tree work but New England ropes have the same thing out called v-12 and I think it is cheeper.

Life rule.......Always have a friend with a bucket truck. Climb the mast...its not that hard if you have some on you trust on the other end of your line. make a short rope continuous loop. This guys boat was put in around 2 in the afternoon. He spent about 2 hrs on it then went home. The mast was going to be stepped the next day. when the workers showed up in the morning the boat was under the water.
it was alot of money to get this boat up. I think it was a 31' cs.

To lazy to do it the right way so I rigged a forestry rigging block off my boom with a rope through it and onto the mast......easy.
