Hi all,
Haven't launched yet but previous owner appears to like caulk in the port swing keel pin area. Anyone want to share their experience of leaks in general on the C22? I'm hoping for no major surprises as the boat leaves the trailor for the first time!
Thanks, dvd

C22 Outboards
As there seems to be a lot of perceived value on used outboards these days, and I need to buy one, does anyone know if a short shaft will work on the C22 with the standard dropping mount? I am looking to open up my choices in the used $$ market.

C22 First Trailer Launch Tips Please
As I get close to my first launch here in Sarasota FL since procurring my '76, now formally named "Da Boat", I would like to welcome advice photos, and tips to the process. I have a stock Chrysler trailor that has rusted to what may be it's final voyage so this may be a one shot deal. Even...

Rudder Tiller Lift Ropes
Hi all,
It seems like the sheet to raise the rudder thru the rudder post up to the tiller does not want to move when on the trailer? When I raise externally the rudder using another sheet, it seems the line to lower is fine. Is this normal when not in the water due to rudder weight or?
thx dvd

Wow what a team!
I have been sailing a long time and have never run into such a great users group! As these boats are rather unique, having the insight and ideas of everyone is a true additional pleasure of owning a C22. If anyone sails on the Gulf Coast of Florida, please let me know. I would like to go out once be...

Bilges Buoancy and Electronics
Someone asked me about the bilge on a C22, and I am now realizing there isn't one? Also, I thought I read about built in buoancy but haven't been able to find out more? Finally, is it just my boat or are there not standard electronics on/off switch panels on these 1976 models?

C22 '76 Galley - Any Interest
Hi,
I just picked up a C22 in good shape (my 12th sailboat) and don't think the unique galley will be utilized that is onboard. Is there a market for these at all?
Thanks for your reply, DVD

Starboard ThruHull C22
Hi,
I just picked up a '76 C22 and noticed about a 1" or less hole about mid cabin below the water line which appears to be purposely made? There is no thru hull fitting in place so I am wondering if I am missing something or just need to plug it.
Thanks, DVD Sarasota FL
