I did drill and install a masthead block for an adjustable topping lift (I want to make sure the boom doesn't scratch our Bimini mounted flex-solar panels.) Found our ...

Lessons learned... and PATIENCE! ;)
Well, I FINALLY got everything hooked up! (Kind of)
(After two minor meltdowns and small fires... really...)
The two wires that I and the previous owner thought were positive, turned out to be negative...

DC Electrical nightmare! =O
Hello all,
Continuing to refit our C26 for an upcoming month long cruise in the San Juan Islands.
I installed a nice 120v system (double pole circuit breaker with GFCI outlet leading to two cabin receptacles.)
I started on our 12v system and found a nightmare of wires (Taped up and unrecognizable ...

Hi Scott,
We'd LOVE to connect up there! Maybe we can exchange phone numbers to get a sense of where each of us will be? (I "think" we'll be arriving there on July 5th/6th? Our float plan is very flexible (Weather and currents!)... Putting in at Anacortes (spending two nights there... first to set ...

Thanks for the photo!
Can you explain where this photo was taken from? Trying to get a handle on what I'm seeing... I'm "thinking" the vertical wall/bulkhead is at the companionway, but the I read that you have a diesel and wonder if there's room back there to get your camera in to take this photo ...

Thanks Scott,
It would be fabulous to make arrangements to meet you up there! If you'd like you can PM me with your contact info and/or I can PM you when we get closer and have our dates finalized.
Funny you should mention Canada... One of the first things Tresa grabbed while we were up in Portland ...

would love to meet!
Hi Scott,
We'd love to meet you!
We'll have some questions for you (thinking you're familiar with the islands): We're hoping to arrive second week in July and stay through the second week in August. as we get closer, maybe we can exchange phone numbers and I can pick your brain? I cruised the ...

Hello all...
It's been a while for us, but we are back to working on our boat. Setting it up for more serious cruising... Just got back from Portland and purchased a 25# Mantus (Yes, a little bit of an over-kill, but although we're trailering, we will be "out there". Also new anchor line and a hard ...

Thank You!
I probably have no reason to complain as rogue valley Oregon is considered mild by most winterized people maybe a few inches of snow a few days out of the winter... But for me, my childhood was spent in the Florida Keys and up until 14 years ago, I lived in southern California and could sail year ...
