Yeah.......its been below 40* at night! Get up to 70 in the afternoon though :lol:
I'm still saving my shekels to replace my trailer. The old one is too corroded to hope of saving. Between that and needing dental work there ain't much happening in the yachting biz.

Chrysler 20 in Chicago west suburbs

Someone my son knows offered him a Chrysler 20 for $580. He really wasn't very interested but did go look at it. He said the boat looked ok (not like he knows anything about it lol) but the trailer was "bad" and he couldn't have towed it home. He lives in NW Indiana. If anyone is intereste...

Do some thorough searching- u will find retailers of sails. The dimensions for the 22' Sandpiper:

I= 27.50'
P= 23.30'
J= 8.80'
E= 7.60'

I've seen a thread addressing this but not sure where. Check Trailersailor or Sailnet. Also I have seen a video somewhere of a guy who had the whole assembly apart and made new replacement parts out of....Delrin I think he called it.

Foam flotation? Wow I thought that 750 lb steel keel made it too heavy to keep afloat in the event of disaster. Hmmmm.......
All the other areas I have looked at are open to storage. Will that small amount of flotation really make a difference?

Hi. I'm another new guy who just bought a '76 C-22. Got it for a good price with a 6hp long shaft Johnson even though the trailer is in bad shape. And I hate Chrysler moco!
