I was not as humane as you. I sprayed about 3 gallons of wasp spray, ant spray, roach spray, even some WD40 that I had nearby. Killed every last one of them. Sprayed, then jumped out of boat to run away from the defense team. Happened several times while trying to eradicate all. Was able to get away...

Kalamaxoogal, yes, the mounts and spreaders have ability to attach to each other, I'm referring to "glueing" the mount to the mast. I, too, have some "caving in" where the previous owner attached the prior spreader mounts too tightly. I'm trying to keep from tightening them that ...

about to attach my Dwyer spreader mounts on the Sea-Shell-E and wondering if I should use something like 3D 5200 to "glue" the spreaders in place... Any suggestions??!! :?:

mounting ideas for a mast light

I'm looking for pictures of ways to mount a mast light (360 degrees) on the top of my C22. Lots of different types for sale, but not really any suggestions on how to mount. All assistance is greatly appreciated!

I sailed with a friend around Jekyl Island last year, and we were docked at a place that had shower facilities. My wife is going to be talked into this (but dont tell her yet), so there must be similar facilities, and maybe even power to dock for boats. Will do research and vote this weekend as well...

ok, about to make some confessions, embarrassing confessions... I bought the Sea-Shell-E in May 2006. The next month I totalled my Honda VTX 1300, several of my tattoos, and my 14 year old's right knee cap. The sailboat quickly became a back burner issue. I did, however, have a custom trailer built ...

I have VERY limited experience. My Chrysler 22 is not water worthy yet, but I got a chance to go with a friend (a less experienced sailor than me) in his 24 (or 26) foot sailboat to Jeckyl Island off the east coast of GA. We set out one day to sail around the island, counter clockwise. When we heade...

Keel pivot check

Ok, I'm getting dangerously close to being ready to spend time on the water. The main thing I am paranoid about is the pivot pin (?) for the keel. I can open the access to the pivot pin, but how can I tell if it's been repaired, replaced, or just rusted. I don't want to get out on the water and hear...

The Sea-Shell-E's table only attaches to the floor. The tabletop itself is free of any evidence that it might have attached to the wall.

Ok, since you took a pic with her behind the VW, I am going to ask this question. I hesitated, and my wife said you'all would poke fun at me, but here it goes. What about tie-dye on the Sea-Shell-E? I'm going to, at least, have a tie-dyed flag, but what about an overall paint job on bottom. I know a...
