Lonestar on eBay

I'm not selling this, but I have "Chrysler" search ongoing on ebay and this Lonestar "15" popped up. Looks a little tired, but the hull looks to be in good shape. Pick it up for $200 or so and you have a pretty nice little project boat, I should think. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot...

Wish I could make it down there! Try asking the Mutineer Yahoo group if there are any LS owners they know of. Thanks!

Jibs,

Hey, there's nothing I like better than sailers on a budget! I have seen several people selling sails for chryslers. Do you have any of the info for the boat, manual maybe? That would tell the surface area of the jib and we can tell the luff from the forestay. By looking at pictures we can guess the...

I now have a Mutineer, but if you have an LS-16 that needs a good home, I'll consider it!

If those are Chrysler sailing magazines, check over at http://chryslersailing.lizards.net/ to see if you have one they don't have a scan of. Would be nice to have a complete online archive.

Re: 1975 Musketeer Catamaran

If you step the mast with the boat on the trailer, you can rig up what would look like a boom vang, with a cleat to either the winch post if you have one, or the mast crutch and to the forestay.. When you lift it up, then cleat if off, then attach the forestay. Also, go to http://chryslersailing.liz...

Have a line on Mutineer

Well, I now have a line on a Mutineer. Actually a Wellboat version from 1982. Does anyone have any tips for this particular version that I should look for? Was the roller furling jib still standard by then?

LS16 vs Mutineer

I'm casting about for 15-16 foot daysailer. My requirements are, in order: daysail cruising, singlehanded capability, and then way down on the list, overnight cruising (don't know if I'll ever do that, but I'd like the option). Given this, can anyone contrast the LS16 vs the Mutineer? I like the LS'...

Wanted in Michigan: LS-16

Hi, I am looking for an LS-16 that's in need of a new home. I have never owned my own boat before, have just sailed club boats, and now want my own. I like the the LS-16's look and would like to hear from you if you know of one available in the Michigan area. A trailer is preferred, but not 100% nec...
