If you step the mast with the boat on the trailer, you can rig up what would look like a boom vang, with a cleat to either the winch post if you have one, or the mast crutch and to the forestay.. Well, I now have a line on a Mutineer. Actually a Wellboat version from 1982. Does anyone have any tips for this particular version that I should look for? Was the roller furling jib still standard by then?
