I use a propane heater buddy. I uses the 16oz propane cylanders (or can be hooked up to a larger tank) It is safe for use indoors, has an automatic shut off should it tip as well as an oxygen sensor.

That would probably be just fine. Fresh water doesn't make quite the mess of a boat bottom as salt does. If you were in salt I'd say get the best you can afford, but with fresh, just get a nice middle of the road bottom paint that doesn't require you to strip your current paint completely. You will ...

A PHRF for a 20' boat is almost the same as a 22'? That says to me the 20' boat is faster foot for foot than the 22. Also, your PHRF numbers sound a lot lower than the ones here in my area. Unless all you want the boat for is racing, I wouldn't worry too much about the PHRF, I'd focus more on if the...

I would bet that any trailer that fits a Catalina 22 swing keel or even a Wing keel would fit. The keel, when up, sticks about 1.5 feet below the bottom of the boat.

I leave mine down all the way. If you like the way it handles the way you have it, keep it that way. How well does it point at that setting? Nothing wrong with tinkering with it to find where you like it best. On a run, it's definitely faster to have the keel all the way up, if you want to tune it f...

Do you mean a Mac 26 swing keel, or a Mac 26X the power sailor? So far as the Mac 26X unless you would really rather have a powerboat that can sail, I'd go with the Chrysler 26. The Chrysler boats are forgiving, stable boats. I have a Chrysler 22 and it sails GREAT. The Chrysler 26 has more ballast ...

I'm not sure if it's for sale but....

At Boston Harbor Marina, in Olympia Washington, there's a Chrysler 26 that I've seen sitting unused. I try and get some contact information and see if the owner is interested in selling it. It is such a shame to see it sit there untouched for so long. I'd love to have a Chrysler 26. They are a nice ...

1977 Chrysler 22 FOR SALE

Guys, I'm selling my Chrysler 22. My parents are buying a Catalina 25 and putting it in the slip I keep my Chrysler in. (it is their slip) They'd have been willing to get a Chrysler 26, but we wouldn't be able to put a 26 foot boat in that slip (max is 25') So my boat must go, as I have no trailer. ...

We've got a Mariner (same as Merc.) 8 hp as well. One thing about it, it hasn't got the power in reverse, at least not with the prop that comes on it. You really have to gun it to slow down when docking. I had a Suzuki Sail model, which is specially geared as well as has a special prop, just for sai...

Here are some of the many pictures I took this past Labor Day Vacation. We were up in Olympia for about 6 days. The weather was a little cooler than usual for this time of the year, but still a beautiful time. Sailing weather was great, and there were lots of boats out on the water. Also, Labor Day ...

No need to worry about those stumps for the most part. Except the "flats" most of them are under 20+ feet of water this time of year. I was just up there again this weekend, would have been absolutely fabulous sailing, wind was great, which it usually is due to the effect of it being in a ...
