I'm looking for interior cushions

I might be intrested in the interior cushions, (or almost anything else intrerior). Which cushions do you have? Also what condition is the table top in? Anything else at all interior? Mine is like an emtpy shower stall inside. My wife just looks at me like "yeah right" when I tell her that...

Actually this weekend the wife and I have plans to go back to Hagg Lake. So this weekend is out of the question for Detroit. I'm convinced she will have a great time at Hagg, so I'll stick to that plan. Hagg is so much closer, and big enough for a leisurely day sail, so we'll build confidence close ...

I did get out for a few hours on Friday. I had the day off and told my dad I would take him sailing. This was maybe the 3rd time he has gone with me, and the first time it was just the 2 of us. The original plan was to go to Detriot, but we went to Hagg Lake instead (much closer to my place). The wi...

dybis, The previous owener had already taken off the "box" for the mast step, and did a partial repair on the core. On my boat, that area is flat with no buildup. What I did was pull the weak SS bracket (again previously modified), repaired some of his core repair, and properly scarfed the...

I have not sailed at Detroit yet Rich. But people say I should check it out. Did not make it out his weekend, too many last minute things to do. BUT we're full steam ahead planning on this weekend. We're also going to drop into a lake atleast once before putting into the Columbia, because we might d...

I guess summer has started without me!

The weather man says is going to get up to 100 this week, and I do have a bit of color on the lower arms. I guess summer has snuck up on me. 8) Since pulling the boat late last fall, I have managed to: Pull the mast step off, do some core repair under the mast step, reglass under step, install a hin...

Well if you do part the boat out, make sure you post about it here.. I need a lot of parts to finish mine off. And I'm much more likely to get the go ahead from the wife to buy "parts" than to end up with a parts boat.

No problem. Now would be a good time to admit that the reason I was so quick with an answer is because I was stumped by the same thing when I looked up my boat. M? There is no month for M? How can this be? I think the website could be a little clearer on that as I think the leading M is always there...

Rudder Control Lines

I replaced mine over the winter while the boat was dry. My rudder configuration is "non stock" meaning someone made one, but I cannot possibly imagine replacing the lines while the boat was in the water. I actually replaced the lines while the rudder was completely off the boat, as I was f...

Your C22 has 2 sets of spreaders? What year is your boat and is it the "tall" setup? My boat came with one set only, and the current spar does not have empty mounting holes, so I wonder.

C22 Spreader Configuration

I've got some questions about the spreader configuration on a C22. Here's what's up there now: A length ( i really should have measured) of solid round aluminum about 1" in diamter (OK, OK, I'll measure everythign this weekend) for each spreader. Both spreaders appear to be tapped and through m...

Out of the shop, into the slip.

Yesterday we launched. Rigging was a joy. Only had to step the mast twice, (meaning I only forgot one thing). After it was lowered again, and the spreader boots installed it was up for good. The only thing I was really leary of was leaking at the keel pin, as I had pulled the keel for repair/paint a...

Hey Rich. I guess I over looked your reply for a while here. Last year I slipped my boat at Harbor 1 on the Columbia. Planning on putting it back same place next weekend. In response to the guy who would like to repair some hull scars. These scars can be easliy repaired, provided that the damage is only to the gelcoat and does not include any hint of damage to the structure. I patched several scars on the hull side of my boat using a "gelcoat kit" from tap ...

I've been planning on doing the same thing, however I have avoided the task until I have the time to install some pipe/hose from the cockpit drain at the same time. Water usually stays out of that well, unless I am under power and the bow starts to ride up.

My boats previous owner also removed a lot of foam in that area as well. Both sides seem to be able equal, so I have ignored that task for the time being. Hey there, I'm a proud owner of a 1972 C22 which I have so far only sailed on the Columbia river in Portland. I purchased the boat through Ebay which worked out well.
