My boat has been in a slip for the last ten years, she remains bone dry except for a small amount of rain that is blown in around the companionway hatch.

Replacing rudder control lines
The lines that keep the kick-up rudder from kicking-up are about to chafe through on my Chrysler 22. Does anyone have any tips on replacing them? Can you do it while the boat is in the water? Should the rudder be in the up or down posistion? Thanks for any advice.

Michael, does Campbell Mfg. still do canvas work?
I posted the images of the cover you mentioned, I did a web search for them and turned up nothing. Would you mind posting or emailing me their number? Thanks!

Hey Rich
This was the easiest thing I have ever done to the boat. These snap in as if they were custom made to fit.
They neither prevent water from entering via the transom nor inhibit the outflow from the cockpit.
I also have them installed in the cockpit.

Do you have or have you seen a cover like this? Any thoughts on a frame?
Note the folding chair for size reference.
Thanks in advance for your comments/help.

Cockpit cover question
My C22 came with a really nice cockpit cover made by Campbell Manufacturing out of Dallas TX. I'm not sure if it is the original cover that came with the boat or an after-market addition. Unfortunatly the frame has been lost. Does anyone have one of these covers? If so, could you send an image or di...
