we got it..!!

I went up about 16 feet and chickened out, That was not for me.. especially since we were still at the dock. We brought the mast down using a Tie down strap wrapped around the mast. Since the jib halyard was ...

Help..me recover my jib halyard

To answer your questions.. Found out today the homes lost power. The owners are just glad nothing worse happened. As far as the height.. I did not see exactly where it hit.. I am sure I will be able to see a mark on the mast when I take it down.. Called our local Water division..explained to a recep...

Sometimes we have to LOOK UP!
When I say LOOK Up I mean to the Heavens and for Hazards.. the breavity of what had happened didn't hit till later last night. We were out on a great sailing day on our local lake. Went around an island to the leeward side to anchor for some lunch. I was on the deck and had just lowered the jib, my ...

Mariner My C-22 does not have a stern pulpit.. but I used 2 or 3 socket extensions and a socket to tighten the back stays. Came up from where I keep my fuel tank. (under the hatch on the transom) with the extensions I could tighten or loosen the nuts. I have not taken off completely.. may be tough t...

Serious Dislocated shoulder.. my wife just went thru rotator cuff surgery and doing therapy right now. She should be good to go...

I live in central ohio so I know the winters we have. I bought the largest gray tarp from harbor freight (50.00 +/-) Took everything out of the interior, nothing left in there, Strapped the mast down to the hull, with foam underneath for cushion. I also have a notched 2x6 that sits in the outboard m...

Realized if anything happened to me, my wife would not be able to pull the cord hard enough to start the motor. I dislocated my shoulder 2 yrs ago and then it hit me. I need an electric sta...
