I bought that same engine, and I wish I hadn't. I like the fuel economy, and the extra long shaft, but it shakes BAD. It makes the whole boat resonate like is a friking blender. Also, there's a flaw design. When you tilt the motor out of the water, and if the water is rough, the level will get stuck...

I don't want to junk up the board with every little thing, so I'll ask this question here. As previously mentioned, I want to fill the areas under the lifeline stanchions with epoxy and then drill. I hope this isn't too stupid of a question, but is there a space between the cabin liner and the side...

The gas locker has to be open (don't connect the upper scoopers to the lower ones!) You should have a shelf in the locker to keep the gas tank out of the water. In my boat is normal that the locker is usually full of water since the Chrysler 22 is a transom heavy boat. If you locker leaks, check the...

Awww the Pirates Sail, it was a rough night, but now I wish there was another one coming up soon! At least we got the grog nights to make it till :) Terrance: I love Wilmington, ever since I visited for the first time in 2002 after I got to Fort Bragg. I live off 421 about 2 miles from the corner wi...

I have read enough to know the keel can cause some serious damage if the cable breaks, so I am replaci...

Hey Jeff! Good reading you man, glad you had a good time!! Does the riding sail works ok then? I have the same problem in my 22, it keeps on hunting at anchor and drives me nuts! I can believe it I made it in the anchorage ok with just 1 anchor, but the next morning it was a pain to weight it back a...
