Hi, My turnbuckles on my C-22 have a ring clip through them. There is a hole drilled through the threaded post and nut. The clips were made of questionable metal, some were just cotter pins. I replaced them with stainless ring clips. I need to remove those clips through my turnbuckles and they turne...

My factory teak was dry and ugly when I got the boat. I put Teak Oil on it and it looks oksy now and it's definetly stronger. I did this about 6 months ago and it needs it again. Not sure if it can be over done.

Thanks

I used a old 4 hp 2 stroke Johnson to move my C-22 about 12 miles. My boat had about 1000 lbs of sea life attached to the fouled bottom. It took me 12 hours as I was fighting the tide the last 5 miles. I did make it though. That little 4 hp moved me at a crawl with all that junk on the bottom but it...

The shop just called my motor is fine. No blown head gasket after all. Turns out it was a carbin build up through the exaust ports that was losening u due to mu rich oil mix in the fuel. It runs excellent had a check-up and will be ready to sail once I pick it up. :D Ye-ha! I did not break my motor ...

Welcome aboard Isaacs,

Looks like the other Manowar experts have your question in hand. I to am in Washington with a C-22, so I'll just say Hi as I think the photo's in this posting are the most I've seen of a Manowar. Good to see it's in good hands.

Thanks

Hi My boats table just mounts to the post in the floor and the table. No connection to the wall at all. I do not have the original table though. I am making a new one. I have the same problem as Trev, I can't get the post out of the floor holder. Scott showed me the bases from Camping World. They ar...

Awesome, I want to go sail right now, but my motor is in the shop getting a new head gasket. I like the way you rigged your GPS/Depth finder. I see you had your main reefed and the storm jib. Nice, real nice. I was listening to your cable hum I was thinking 5 to 6 knots, then you showed your speed o...

The ad says it has a 6 foot beam, that does not sound right.

The Beam on a C-22 is 7'9"

What is the Beam on a C-26?

Wish it was closer or I'd be interested.

Thanks

Ah a wooden boat. They are so smooth, they just feel good when you sail them. It was a 1950's boat from the Seatlte Wooden boat musium that I sailed that convinced me to get a sailboat of my very own. I sailed her for about 2 hours on lake Union. But the work, oh no, not for me. I'll look at them a ...

Jason,

Okay, before I go off and place my order for new sails you said... "my only regrets about the new main was that I didn't go with full battens and a loose foot."

This is something I should consider?

Thanks
