It's going to depend on the size of your head sail, the larger the head sail the farther back you need to attach the blocks. I know that when flying my working jib (90%) the blocks are mounted two holes in front of the rear lifeline stanchion. You may need to play around with the location until you ...

Welcome aboard, T-Bird. Wisconsin is a great location for a trailer sailor. Make sure your trailer is ready for use also, lots of great sailing is just a days drive from you. Personally, my home waters are the St. Croix River between Afton MN and Stillwater MN, but have made road trips to Duluth for...

A PO of Happy Place used snaps on the corners and a couple between that replaced the rivets that hold the frame in place. Then sewed screen to webbing and attached the other snaps to that. Sorry no measurements she's still in winter storage. Nice thing about snaps is they don't snag on stuff while i...

Sorry I have not gotten the trip story and pictures posted yet, but it's been busy, maybe it will be a good read this winter. Because of a troubling leak at our through hull for the keel cable we only spent 6 days in the water, after that Happy Place became a camper. But thanks to the flexibility of...

...how are the end block plates secured to the track? The bolts that secure the cheek blocks run through backing plates located in the track and locking nuts that clamp the block plates on the track. The origional retaining pins are in place if they slip. So far no issues, but we have not been out i...

Up in our corner of the country, sailing days start getting limited after Labor Day.
It's always kind of a sad day when the tarp goes over the boat in the fall, but hopefully when the tarp comes off early next spring, we know that your boat will be ready to sail after all the work you did this season.
