When you put the collar back on be sure to put anti seize compound on the threads . The compound will help prevent corrosion and dissimilar metal action. Good luck with the rudder

You found your leak . Now you will have to do some fiberglass work. It may be time consuming but relatively inexsprsive and very doable.

If you go to the documents page where the manuals are , then go to the c26 - bridal assembly the 8th document should show the rudder line assembly. Both lines go up through the rudder shaft.
