I bought the motor new in Aug. of 08 and I checked and it has a three year warrany on it. So I may come out smelling lake a rose :wink: :wink:

EE . In the stern berth the wood is from an old 13 foot market umbrella that the canvas was all torn. I checked the spark plugs, thay were good. The gas was new just bought it three day a go. Fuel filter clean and the fuel line was ok.

I did run all the gas ou of the carb in Nov 0f 08 and drained all the gas of the tank so it was fresh gas

That is a real nice looking boat. I love the color. I see you have the orignal burgundy carpet inside on the soal. I have taken all the foam back liner out and repalced it with carpet. I have it all done except the stern berth.

I keep a padlock on the main hatch and keep the eng key inside the boat and have keys for the lock on all truck and cars keys and admiral keeps a set of keys in her purse. That way I all ways have a key to boat with me.

This is where I placed my stereo and then put portable speakers on both sides behind the lazerette with long enough speaker wire so I can take them out in to cockpit.

I did not replace the shim/guides. After I screwed the shim/guides down I ran a fine bead of silicone along both sides to ensure no water would get under then and leak.
