My winch did the same thing, whin I take the boat out of the water I leve the kill down about 10%. That keeps the boat certer on the traler, but don't forget to take up the slake after the boat is out. I did not, so when the boat went back in the water the cable had slake in it an the winch frewhell...

It was a good easter, but the water is a littel hard for sailing. I bet I could get my c-26 up to 55m-p-r on the lake, behind the truck. But that not sailing, has been a log cold winter

Hi, on my c-20 I keep the battery topside in the box by the tiller with the gas tank. Makes it handy for the fish finder. If you need to keep it locked up. Me an my c-20 once had a fight with a bower line. The c-20 lost' the mast brok at the spreder bolt, even with all that forse it did not compres the mast. perty clean brake, I only lost an inch of mast.
