Last year I bought the Sunsei se-400 and the solar grip from West Marine. It keeps both of my batterys charged up all the time. Even when I have the stero, VHF radio and all the instruments on. I check the output on the solar panel in the bright sun and it was putting out 20 volts. It will charge as...

EE after seeing your photos of your mast step hook laying on the ground. I said to my self, self in the worse case scenario what wound I rather have the hook laying on the ground or a big hole in the top of the boat. I vote for the hook on the ground. With the erection bridies the mast stays straigh...

Our summer and fall boating season is over. We pulled the boat out of the lake yesterday. In about 10 to 15 days all launch ramps on the lake will be out of the water. The lake is dropping about one foot a day. We could have kept her in the lake but sense we wanted to do some work on her this year l...

It states the C-26 is COURSER, the C-22 is Sandpiper, but dose not have a name for the C-20. The brochure has all specifications , standard and o...

Clam or cam cleats for trimming the jib??
My wife and I were out sailing the other day, and we have clams cleats just aft of the winches for trimming the jib. Every time we had to trim the jib we had to be on the leeward side of the boat. I remember years ago when we had a Catalina 22 that we had cam cleats and you could trim the jib from t...
