I have to replace the liner in the v-berth and stern berth. Replace the Kenyon alcohol stove with a Origo non pressure alcohol stove.
Replace the depth sounder with one that works. Revarnish the teak on the cabin top and hatches.
And last but not lease refresh the gelcoat on the hull.

Last year I bought the Sunsei se-400 and the solar grip from West Marine. It keeps both of my batterys charged up all the time. Even when I have the stero, VHF radio and all the instruments on. I check the output on the solar panel in the bright sun and it was putting out 20 volts. It will charge as...

I replaced the rudder line on my boat using 12 feet of 3/8 inch line. First I put the line under the tiller and then feed both ends of line through the rudder post and fixed it to the rudder, and with the rudder down the up line will not hand lose, or fall through the rudder post.

Lake Oroville is down 218 feet from the top as of today, they say by Dec. it will be down to 260 feet from the top. Even with a real wet year the lake will not fill up. The only ramps that are open are temporary ramps for small boats and you have to have a four wheel drive to lanch and retrieve.

My wife and I were out sailing the other day, and we have clams cleats just aft of the winches for trimming the jib. Every time we had to trim the jib we had to be on the leeward side of the boat. I remember years ago when we had a Catalina 22 that we had cam cleats and you could trim the jib from t...

I have a Mercury 9.9 prokicker wiith electric start and power tilt and 20 inch shaft. It will move my boat between 5.5 and 6 knots, which is hull speed. I got the short shaft beacuse when you tilt the motor up it will clear the water, the long shaft will not.
