Love those pictures My boat is out and wrapped now for a month and we are in the middle of an ice storm in New York right now. Thank you for sharing it may help with the cabin fever. I may turn the heat on in the boat tomorrow and get some cleaning done.

I would not try it. I haul my 1980 C26 with a V-8 Dakota 4X4 with tow package and I went 30 miles with a 2001 Sea Lion trailer the the Dakota will tow 7000 lb. but in road conditions 5400lb. can be at the limit going uphill. When I get another vehicle it will be a full size 4X4 P/U.

I am insatalling a solar charger SE500 from West Marine at present time I am not using an inverter but at some point. I found wind generators as well but cost is about 10 times and output is not much more.

Thank you banshi. I was thinking without mast I could wet it stretch it and let gravity help and wet it again repeating as needed. I have done this one other time on my Newport Holiday which had a boltrope on the luff and foot. Also I see you have your boat on each post how do I do that?

Main sail

My main had a terrible shape and the boat sat for 7 years what U found was sails sitting cabin for 7 years in the northeast where temp went from highs in high 90's and lows below zero. Luff rope in the main had shrank almost 9" from spec. and after the snow is gone I am going to stretch between...

Shrouds

On my Getatway It only requires headstay and forward lower shrouds disconnected to lower mast and then I remove shrouds and backstay by removing pins 5 min. 10 if I take a break and 5 min before the mast comes down. I don't really trust quick release as my luck would be they would release when I am ...
