I got Defender on the 14th and West Marine on the 15th and I was on the net to see if west in Canada was different and all I could find with the .ca was Western Marine don't know if it is the same or not.

Well said Alan and I do the same thing as I will sail past most 26's with only the genoaand with the furler I can depower in seconds so it works to sail into a dock or the mooring and you see the Catalina owners coming in under power and hit reverse and full power and still have to throw a line over...

I like the Chrysler 26 and when it is bare bones as mine was you make it your own with the upgrades and as I find something I want I can tinker and do it with sailing it does take longer because it is a sail boat not a work boat.

Terrence the setee crack does look like a stress crack more from twisting but I would be more concerned if you have a soft spot at the port stern where it looks like oil canning on the trailer look for stress marks around there or is it pulled tight on the trailer?

I actually was searching for lazy jacks a couple of years ago and found easy jacks and fashioned my own as they fold to the mast after furling and stay out of the way until you are ready to lower the main.
