use the motor to keep me pointed into the wind... then i storethe main with th slides already in the track and the gate clised.... i am careful wheni raise the main... the wire halyard can sometimes jump off the sheave and getjammed and ruin your summer.

areo........WOW! what a panel...is that pic flopped or did you reverse your whole cabin galley layout? where did you put your batteries.....? I wouldlove to do a similar setup but i feel i need to move the batteries to starbaord to counter act the port list ...but wheni actually tested the batteries...

Thanks.. A pic would be great...trying to get all the electronics organized into a nav station sort of set up...... Debating shorter wire from battery source ...to be moved to starboard. Vs. Maybe slightly better function near the galley...not sure so would benefit from some experienced users here...

I have that very set up. 1-1/2 inch do Diane flex hose runs from a west marine haws pipe on the very starboard side down along the starboard wall of the berth into the v berth storage locker. I have the damn forth on a simple roller on the bow pulpit.

Also, my breaker panel has 4 circuits and I have the following loads,

Cabin lights, nav lights , steamer light, VHF, stereo, instruments, cig lighter.

Also bilge pump will be on own dedicated circuit.

So how to I a lot the 4 circuits to the 7 loads?

I am planning to mount a wood panel above the read seat back cushions that would hold the VHF, the stereo, the switch panel and a voltmeter and battery switch and a cig lighter socket. Don't those underwater lights need thruholes? They are cool but I thought that is a lot more holes in the hull to keep track off. But they are entertaining and quite a draw. My ideal situation would be proper sealed and vented battery boxes but they batterries would fit in there w/o boxes and I would strap them down OR maybe place them end to end inthere parallel to the centerline of the boat.. this would give me more height and maybe room for boxes and also get teh wei...

as posted previously, I had been using a block attached to the toe rail.. I am now worried thathis method may be putting too much strain onthe toe rail that I have learned is simply attached by small screws into the deck flange... I have not seen any problems but I worry about it bending or pulling ...

he took the raw water inlet for the head flush and re-routed to use as a 12v washdown. make sure you have a seacock on that thruhull and also make sure your head does not leak and that you have a proper loop in the line and that the vent is clear and not clogged, by law you need to have the waste go...

EE, do you have a pic and / or dimensions of that "rickety" peice for the vberth... Ipresume thais is the "plug" section that completes the berth and fills-in the small standing area of the v-berth for sleeping... I have the OEM cushion but somehow do not have the underneath boar...
