I'm getting ready to purchase new ropes/lines for the AnneMarie as they have NEVER been replaced (or at least thats what it looks like to me) attached is a photo of the current wire to rope halyard that has been used...do ya'll have any suggestions on a replacement "splice" or is what is there appropriate or good enough ?

According to the rigging instructions it's just a boline that connects the two.
