Hi everyone,
I have a 1978 Chrysler 26 and noticed a leak from the rudder shaft penetration on the bottom part of the hull that is below the water line that trickles into the bilge. Any advice on how to repair it?

I Don’t ck the subject posts very often but if I understand your question the leak is from the sleeve in the Lazare that the rudder shaft runs through.If you look in the documents section there should be a rubber hose with clamps top and bottom. If the clamps are leaking you should be able to replace or tighten the clamps otherwise you will need to drop the rudder and replace the hose. Some people have used radiator hose as a replacement. In some cases Po has glassed in a rigid tube . Hope this helps .
