OK, so i am only a year into sail boats. i got my lone star 16 for free a year ago and need to do some work on it... where do i start... i need to fix the keel fins... i take on water from them.. where do i get parts for this particular boat?? other than that all i need to do some fiber glass work on the flooring and clean up trialer..

Jays, the handles for lowering your bilge keels should have a rubber gasket ,if you will, these are adjustable I think by tightening the two screws that hold the handle on. And a tightening of the two nuts under the screw heads should scinch them down tight. As long as you can still swing the bilge keels down it's not too tight.
My gaskets seem to be made of a rubber similar to car tire material.
