Bilge Pump Hour Meter

Since I now have a boat that I may not see but every couple weeks, if that much, I thought I might want a way to monitor the time the automatic bilge pump runs. Shouldn't be any at all, but since the boat is clearing any small leaks on its own I'd want to know that something was going south.

So I bought a little meter like this
12 Volt Battery Indicator with Hour Meter - Relay

Gives you a run time, and a quick glance at battery voltage, and also has a trigger for another device.

Great idea EE! Now I know what to do with that spare hour meter that has been in my tool box for that last 5 years.

I was checking that meter earlier today after not being to the boat in a while. nice bit of peace of mind. wind was howling about 30 and gusting higher. and it was way too cold for me to go out lol. we are expecting a low of 27 tonight. not usual for early march down here at all.
