solar rope lights from home depo

Post by AlexisAnn »

Installed 2 sets of solar rope lights along the rails for night cruises. Looks good, illuminates the deck and makes a all around great atmosphere on deck for those late night river cruises. For about 100 bucks it really classes up the boat in my opinion. The solar powere LED's is a great power saver also.

Did you hang them on the outside of the toerail? Where are the solar collectors mounted? Post a shot in the daylight showing your set-up.

Looks very nice!

Yes. Those are the same lights. I will get some more detailed pics when I go to the boat today. Took four solar rope lights to go around the whole c26.

Nothing very exciting, just some electrical tape and zip ties. White zip ties blend in really well and you don't really notice them. Also have solar LED pathway lights off the stern. Light up the cockpit pretty well without blinding you at night
