Same experience here. My fuel pump diaphragm split one day . Sent a picture to Franz at Franz Marine and his reply was - been using Ethanol in that motor, right ? That's how I found out about the issue. The old rubber does not react well to the stuff, hardenes and splits, plus it causes water/moisture issues, and the motor just doesn't well as well..

I have been using Sea Foam with no complaints

Same here on the sea foam. As far as the ethanol, I dont even run that junk in my truck.
