reverse lock on Chrysler outboard

Does anyone have a picture of the spring, link, and spacer used for the reverse lock on the Chrysler Sailor 10 HP?
My reverse lock isn't working, so when I put it in reverse, the motor kicks up out of the water.
I think all the parts except possibly the spacer are intact and in place, but either they aren't connected properly, or the spring is bent out of shape, or the missing spacer doesn't let the whole assembly work. The manual shows an exploded view of these parts, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how they should be positioned when assembled (especially the spring).
