Adjust gear Linkage for 10 HP Outboard

My 10 HP Chrysler Outboard wont stay in reverse gear. Fwd works great! But when I shift it into reverse, it immediately pops back out when I let go of the shift lever. It runs fine in Reverse if I hold the lever in place. It even stays in reverse gear once I am throttling at higher speeds. But at low or idle speed it pops out.
I'm thinking I need to adjust the linkage, but it isn't clearly obvious how to do that.
