Standing Rigging

Post by astrorad »

I highly recommend http://www.secosouth.com for standing rigging.
They are located in Largo,FL and did right by me.
I raised my mast and adjusted my old rigging, took it down and shipped it to them for $ 17 UPS. About two weeks later my old rigging and the new rigging was at my door. Cost...$ 412.85 with shipping. That included new wire rope halyards with captive pin shackles.
Quality seems to be top notch, actually much better than the OEM stuff.
Ken Brown and Jean were great to deal with over the phone....very helpful.

I just got my lines and shrouds from www.saltydogmarine.com. Two shrouds, fore stay and complete rope package for $230 shipped. I know they have Buccaneer and Mutineer packages. Not sure about other models.

Another pleased secosouth customer! I ordered a new forestay, they were able to reuse the turnbuckle, and it ran about $40 plus shipping. They were pleasant to deal with, and very knowledgable. Highly recommended and will definitely use them for any other rigging needs.
