Chrysler 22 boom parts

Post by Phylarch »

Just bought a 22, and in need of boom parts. The piece right above the gooseneck, which is pot metal. and the piece at stern part of boom used to attach mailsail. Used for out haul or down haul, not sure what it is called. Its riveted in the end of boom, so it may be hard to find. Where can I find these parts?

You'll probably have to look thru the on line catalogs at

http://www.rigrite.com/

or a similar site and hope for something similar since there are no parts for the old boats per se ..since those two parts are attachment point you may can get some flat straps to attach to each end of the boom and drill holes for the pins to go thru.

EE, I agree with you , after doing some searching and realizing noone in their right mind makes a rectangle boom. I realized, I have a rectangle boom! I can add almost anything to it.
