I recently bought a 1978 Buccaneer and was wondering if there is something the square hole in the bottom of the mast sits on. If so, where can I get one?

Im sure I will have many more questions as I try to get this thing ready to put in the water.

I found the mast step in a bucket in the boat

Great find! Nothing is better than a parts search you don't have to do! FYI parts boats pop up on the Facebook Buccaneer list with some frequency but with as many manufacturers as the Bucc has had over the years finding just the part you need can be a bear.
