Takes on water

We purchased a used chrysler 22 foot. WE are just having a ball with it. When we bought it it did not come with a trailer, so we have it in a lake. Water seems to be getting into the cabin on the floor. I think it is coming in from the back end by the motor and then running forward. I have noticed the fuel tank area has water in it. Is there a fix for this?

Leak

It maybe could be leaking in from the fuel tank area--there should be water in there because water drains from the cockpit through this area and out the scuppers on the transom. Another area to check is under the seat at the settee where the swing-keel pin is located. That's where my leak is located. Check out the message just under yours for additional information.

Oh, you might be getting water coming in where the tiller goes through the hull. My money's on the swing keel though.
