Copacetic has a list to port of a few degrees, and lately I've been convincing myself that the mast is leaning relative to the boat, possibly causing the list.
Does anyone have a good way to check this?
I'm also wondering about standing rigging tension. What should it be and how should I check it?

listing to port
I noticed the same thing on my c-22 and was wondering what the outcome of adjusting the mast?
I measured using the halyard method and found the mast to be off slightly. I centered it up, but the boat still lists to port.
I would actually be surprised if this isn't a design feature common to all C-26's. With battery, galley and head all on the port side, the only thing on the starboard side is that little drawer cabinet.
We may also have some extra water ballast in the deck, but I'm not sure of the extent of that. It would take quite a bit of water to do it.

Tom, a list to port is pretty common on C26, for exactly the reasons you state. I built a locker into the starboard settee that holds a pair of Group 27 batteries, and I keep my tools and spare hook stowed in the settee locker forward of that. The batteries balance out the head and galley, while the other stuff compensates for food and cookery. Windward sits even on her lines that way.

list to port
I noticed the same thing our our 26. I was kicking around the idea of
building a locker under the ladder and putting the batteries there so they
would be low and in the center. Has anybody done that ?

On CRYSTA I have six 6 volt golf cart batteries for house power and one 12 volt for starting my motor - 4 of the 6V house batts are located on the center line where the ice chest goes under the v berth (I cut the floor of the step area out too set the batts low. The 2 other 6V golf cart batts and the 12V starter batt are located on the center line in the engine well for an inboard engine located in the stern. (We don't use the stern berth for sleeping) The water tank is also in the engine well on the center line (10 gal) I have an Engel refrigerator (dual 12/110 volt), sink and built in microwave located on the portside. My stove/oven is on the center line below removable stairs at the companion way. I have no discernable list and fully loaded float on the waterline. Now (while typing this and tied to the dock) that being said with my fat butt sitting on the port side bench there is a list to port - LOL
