Vacation Sailin Picts

Post by Bhacurly »

Here's a link to some of the picts from our vacation on the C-22...

Family, friends, friends on there Cat-25, some other boats on the lake, a few of the windy bouy spot with no sleep, bla bla bla...

Made me realize I shot more video than took picts... so I'll have to get some of that up next :D

Very nice and thanks for sharing! Those hills must do some interesting things to the wind.

Looks like a wonderful time! I hope to have good times like that on my 22 after I get her ship shape.

Hey EE you keep sayin that!!

Mario, it is Lake Pend Orielle. We've been there now for 4 years. Our slip is on the more scenic southern end of the lake in Bayview :D

Tom, yes the winds get channeled along the course of the lake by the steep mountains and create downbursts, eddies, fast and slow spots, just like a river channel. The cliffs on the south end are 3,000 ft up from the water and have the Billy goats we like to watch, they can be found all along the south and east sides of the lake...

Indeed I do. We're gonna get there at some point, just waiting for the merry go round to slow down enough to change horses...
