We just returned from our first trip down to Bonfouca Marina, and Emergency Exit seems okay. She was bow high in the water due to a timber stuck just under the toe rail above the padeye, or so I thought...after removing this she still was stuck. Then I noticed a really tight line running from under the dock to a stern cleat. When I cut this she floated free. This was the only line that held her, and was the last line I added before the hurricane. It was added only as an afterthought when I found an old jib sheet in the locker and thought "hey, why not tie one more ?"...very glad I did...others were not so fortunate, slip next to mine held a sunken ship, others were aground, and the marina behind us was a mess with about 6 boats all piled up in a stack in the middle of a highway.
Will post pictures of all the scenes around the marina on my web page tomorrow
