LS16 vs Mutineer

Post by Jayers »

I'm casting about for 15-16 foot daysailer. My requirements are, in order: daysail cruising, singlehanded capability, and then way down on the list, overnight cruising (don't know if I'll ever do that, but I'd like the option). Given this, can anyone contrast the LS16 vs the Mutineer? I like the LS's flat, CBless cockpit, but does this make it a harder boat to sail? Slower? I see plenty of info and opinions on the Mutt, but none on the LS. If anyone can help, please chime in!

Have a line on Mutineer

Post by Jayers »

Well, I now have a line on a Mutineer. Actually a Wellboat version from 1982. Does anyone have any tips for this particular version that I should look for? Was the roller furling jib still standard by then?
