LS-16 Hull Number 213001121 - Any Ideas?

Anyone know how I can figure out what year this boat is?

Somewhere here one of the guys posted a breakdown of the Chrysler hin's but I'm not sure if it is old enough for the Lone Star boats. Weren't most of those in the late sixties? I'm not sure.

I can perhaps offer a starting point. My LS-16 has a Chrysler plate on it. The HIN is 218000811, and it's a 1970.

Thank you for the replies. I know that it must be pre 1972 because they went to a 12 number identification system in 1972 that identifies what year a boat was manufactured from within the hull number.

Does anyone know if there is a place to cross reference the numbers from 1965 to 1972? Maybe a book or something?

These look like serial numbers. I guess if that's the case, if we knew where the numbers started in 1965 and ended in 1972 we could average out how many boats were made for each year.

Does anyone have an LS-16 serial number from 1965 and/or 1972?
