Water Alarm

Post by Chrysler20%26 »

I think this is a must have, ( Water Alarm ) . If you have a home or boat, ever have a sump pump or a hot water tank go bad. A water alarm could save you a lot of clean up.

Any hardwere store that sales sumpumps, should have them. Thay are small an run on a 9 voat battery, an sound like a smok detector. I have two in my basment, one by the sumpump, an one by the hot water heater. For the boat I say it is a must have idem. Becaus when you are out sailing every one sites in the back of the sailboat, with the outbord off. Lets say you get a leak, you are taking in water. No big deal, you have a auto bilg pump. You are haveing fun sailing, talking to frends. No budt knows the bilg pump is running. Bilge pump runds the batery dead, now the boat is filling with water. Cant start the outboard the batery is dead. Now what do you do ???

Good idea Bob! I've got one of these alarms in my sump pump and it's saved me before. Never crossed my mind to have one in the boat... but I'll have one the next time I go out.

I want a boat that drinks 6, eats 4, and sleeps 2.
